Friends of Foster Children
Children at risk, such as foster children, historically have less than a 50% chance of graduating high school and less than a 2% chance of making into college. Friends Of Foster Children Forever provides academic tutoring to children age 0 through high school. In just the few short years of this mentoring program we already have high school aged students entering college. Through our support we are helping to bring awareness of this need to the communities surrounding us.
Gulfshore Playhouse
William C. Huff Companies are a proud partner of the Gulf Shore Playhouse. By bringing professional theater to an intimate setting, the Playhouse brings a part of the New York City and metropolitan culture of the performing arts to our city. The Playhouse’s commitment to education for the youth and at risk children further enhances the community around us.
St. Matthew's House
William C. Huff Companies proudly works with St. Matthews House with referrals to their thrift store, mentoring for recovering patients and by actively supporting their many fundraising activities. In 2016, with help from their volunteers, sponsors, and supporters, they were able to distribute nearly 7,000 bags of groceries and serve 513,249 hot meals to Southwest Floridians in need.
Naples Winter Wine Festival
The Naples Winter Wine Festival is an annual charity fund raising event that raises and donates over $10 million every year to children’s needs. William C. Huff Companies is privileged to help with the many logistics involved with pulling off the multi-day event.
Conservancy of SW Florida
The Conservancy of SW Florida is dedicated to preserving the fragile wildlife and environment surrounding the SW Florida area. They also are committed to helping restore health to injured wildlife and to educating on the needs of the environment to the local community and also to the youth through special mentoring programs. William C. Huff Companies advocates for the Conservancy in many areas and has provided educational speaking about the environment.
Our Contributions to a Cleaner Environment
Low Emissions
William C. Huff Companies regularly trade out our vehicles for later model, low emission vehicles. In fact, our latest models produce less than half of what other vehicles emit.
We are Solar
In our first full year with solar we had a negative carbon footprint in that produced more power than we used and we prevented over 200 tons of co2 from going into the atmosphere.

The William C. Huff Companies’ policy of “free pick-up of used boxes” helps to reuse over 250,000 lbs of boxes every year. Also, we reuse 100% of all wooden crates that are built for transporting art and sculptures.
We Recycle
New furniture and household goods that come into the William C. Huff warehouses are packaged in cardboard or are in wooden crates. Over 350,000 pounds of cardboard is recycled each year and most of the wooden crates and pallets are reused.
