THE RIGHT TOOL FOR THE JOB

In the logistics industry, we have many tools that we use for our projects. We have two wheel dollies, four wheel dollies, appliance dollies, rolling carts and bins, rigging equipment, specialized trucks, fork lifts, pallet jacks, lift straps, logistic straps, different types of pads and blankets, floor, banister and door jamb protection, jump ramps, truck ramps and stair ramps, just to name a few pieces of equipment. Our best equipment though, far and away, is our staff. We’re fortunate enough to have the some of the best folks in the industry on our team. Our staff members aren’t just numbers on a spreadsheet, they’re our family members. They work incredibly hard to provide the best service in the industry. When other companies say no, our team says yes. They’re some of the hardest working people I’ve had the pleasure of working with in my professional career. Make no mistake, their job is not an easy one. It can be extremely hard, physical work. Couple the very physical nature of this work with 100% humidity and 90-plus degree temperatures and you begin to get an idea of what our team is up to. I’ve been a desk jockey for many, many years now but when I started with William C. Huff Companies twelve years ago I spent my first few weeks working on-site with our crews. I was immediately blown away with how our teams work in this (occasionally extreme) Florida climate. They seemingly power through the heat with ease and they do it while maintaining great attitudes with our clients and each other. These fine staff members make up a huge part of our company and they deserve much recognition for what they do. Our front office staff and warehouse team are no exception, they work diligently to ensure that everything is lined up so that our crews can work effectively and efficiently without delays or other issues. They keep the administrative side well handled, allowing other aspects of the business to flourish with all of their hard work. William C. Huff Companies Florida has been fortunate enough to have a number of very long term staff members over the years. We’ve had one senior crew leader on staff here in Florida for just under twenty years and our New Hampshire team still has one of the original members from when Jim Henderson purchased the company thirty years ago! We’re proud to have great people on our team. Out of work each of our family members has their own interests, passions and hobbies. They’re all very unique and individual people who together as a team, make our family what it is. Our family, from the newest hire to our most tenured staffer, is incredibly important to us and we’re so grateful to have all of them with us.
